Summary

Description
English: Interior of the monastic chancel of St Bees Priory, dating from about 1190. The building was roofless after the dissolution of the priory in 1539, and re-roofed in 1817 to become the lecture room of the theological college. It was restored in 2012 for use as a parish room.
