English: Squeeze rubbing of an inscription which commemorated the renovation of a minaret at the Madrasa of Sultan Malik Mansur Qalawun in Cairo after an earthquake, dated 1325 CE, documented in 1894 by the Swiss epigraphist Max van Berchem (1863-1921) and published in his Corpus Inscriptionum Arabicarum (No. 89), from the collections of the Bibliothèque de Genève, on display at the Musée d’art et d’histoire (MAH) in Geneva, Switzerland, as part of the special exhibition on the occasion of the centennial of van Berchem's death.
