English: The site of Salehurst Halt, looking towards Robertsbridge. The halt would have been directly behind the photographer. Photo taken from the site of the level crossing immediately to the west of the halt.
The text to the photograph taken of Salehurst Halt should read..........the site of Salehurst Halt is on the right hand side, a little further up opposite the old Pill Box which still stands guardian over the site of the long demolished Salehurst Halt, the Halt consisted of a sleeper fronted gravel in filled platform, with a name board and a wooden bench no shelter of lighting, to the rear of the photographer on his left hand side and at the east side of the level crossing was a single siding
