Roman Dragonesque brroch
Description
English: Copper alloy Dragonesque brooch, completely undamaged with pin intact. The design utilises the Celtic trumpet or cornucopia motif to form the S-shape with a central boss having a deeply indented annulet within. The head is decorated with annulet forming the eye, the chin is supported on the bow. The balanced foot is of a similar design to the head.
