Description
English: Ts (Temperature vs. specifific entropy) diagram of a basic Rankine cycle using water/steam in SI units. Data derived from IAPWS IF-97 using freeware openoffice-calc macros from www.x-eng.com. Decided against using Kelvin for temperature scale as many people are unfamiliar with it; used °C instead. Isobars are at pressures 0.06bar, 1.01325bar (1atm), 50bar, 150bar and 221bar. Temperature rise associated with pump is heavily exaggerated for clarity and cycle operates between pressures of 50bar and 0.06bar. States are numbered using the convention I've always been familiar with. Easiest to think of the cycle starting at the pump and so input to pump is state 1.
Română: Un ciclu Clausius-Rankine cu apă reprezentat în diagrama T-s, gradată în unităţi SI. Diagrama a fost trasată pe baza formalizării IAPWS IF-97 folosind macrourile aplicaţiei libere openoffice-calc de la www.x-eng.com. S-a folosit temperatura exprimată în °C, ca în tabelele termodinamice uzuale. Izobarele sunt trasate la presiunile de 0,06 bar, 1,01325 bar (1 atm), 50 bar, 150 bar şi 221 bar. Creşterea temperaturii în pompă este mult exagerată, în scop didactic, pentru claritatea funcţionării ciclului între 50 şi 0,06 bar.
