English: Polygonum polystachyum in Finistère (Britany, W of France). This plant introduced in this country is locally invasive. It is a species of flowering plant in the knotweed family known by the common names Himalayan knotweed and cultivated knotweed.
Français : Renouée à épis nombreux (Polygonum polystachyum), photographiée près de Sizun (Finistère, Bretagne, Ouest de la France. Espèce invasive, se développant ici de manière linéaire et très dense, sur un talus bordant une route départementale (de mémoire : le site est situé sur la gauche de la départementale, en allant vers Morlaix, non loin de Sizun en venant de Crozon). Les engins de travaux public ou de broyage des végétaux ont pu (et peuvent encore) contribuer à la dispersion de cette plante.
