Summary
DescriptionPlanocrania JWArtworks.PNG
English: Planocrania, a terrestrial crocodilian from the Late-Paleocene and Early-Eocene of China. It was a member of the Pristichampsidae and thus related to the larger Pristichampsus. It is remarkable as it is, together with Pristichampsus and Quinkana, one of the few eusuchians which posessed ziphodont teeth, indicating that it was probably an active terrestrial predator.
