Description
English: Beskrivelse / Description: Fyrbøteren Ove Braskerud (1872-1899) døde av lungebetennelse høsten 1899 mens "Fram" overvintret i Havnefjord (Harbour Fiord). Han ble senket i havet, og mannskapet satte opp dette minnesmerket for han.

The stoker, Ove Braskerud, died of pneumonia while "Fram" spent the Winter in Harbour Fiord. He was buried in the Ocean and the crew built this memorial for him.
