Summary

Description
English: Satellite image of the third October 2021 Northeast Pacific bomb cyclone several hours prior to its peak intensity off the coast of the West Coast of the United States, on October 24, 2021. The bomb cyclone was the third and the most powerful system in a series of three extratropical cyclones that struck western North America within a week. This storm broke pressure records, and it was the strongest extratropical cyclone (in terms of minimum pressure) to affect the region on record.
