Description
English: Relief with surgical instruments presented to Imhotep (middle) in the temple of Kom Ombo. The temple was used as a sanatorium. To the left are a seated Isis and Nephtys during labour giving birth. To the right a text with Egyptian numerals.
Nederlands: Reliêf met chirurgische instrumenten aangeboden aan Imhotep in de dubbeltempel van Kom Ombo. De tempel werd lange tijd als sanatorium gebruikt waar geesteszieken werden verzorgd. Links zien we een gezeten Isis en Nephtis, tijdens de barensweeën. Rechts een tekst met Egyptische getallen.
