Summary

Description
English: This is a composite image made from JunoCam images taken during the 1st, 3rd, & 4th perijove's(orbits) of NASA's Juno spacecraft. They were merged together using Photoshop and had the motion blurring reduced using a Wiener filter. This is the first time the polar regions of Jupiter have been observed and is made possible by the unique polar orbits of the Juno spacecraft. The imaging is done by a program where NASA provides the raw images and leaves it up to amateur's to do the processing. The polar region is distinctly different from the familiar belts and zones of the temperate regions. The image shows a series of cyclones averaging 6000 miles in size.
