English: Isis Lock, Oxford The canal layout in Oxford is complicated. Isis lock gives boats from the Oxford Canal access to the River Thames, requiring a sharp right turn at the bottom of the lock (note the sign to boaters) and then passage through a short cut under a very low railway bridge.
