Description
English: Finnish architect Eliel Saarinen's 1922 entry in the Chicago Tribune Tower design competition. Saarinen was awarded $20,000 for his second-place entry but his building was never completed. Instead, his simplified modernist stepback skyscraper design influenced many other architects.
