Summary

This memorial to those from Lovćenac (German: Sekitsch), Vojvodina, Serbia, who died in the first world war has been moved from its original location. It is now next to the factory at the north end of the village on the main road. It is notable in that it shows how the Danube Swabians wrote their names backwards, sans comma, as is common in Eastern Europe, less so in standard German.
