Summary

Description FDA, here represented by Commissioner Charles Edwards (standing, on the right), formally receives the transfer of the biological facilities of the U. S. Army Pine Bluff Arsenal in Arkansas in 1971. The National Center for Toxicological Research opened at the site the following year. For more information about FDA history visit.
