Summary

Description
English: Birdsall House The house is mainly of the mid 18th century, but was remodelled several times over the following 130 years, with the latest alterations and improvements by Salvin, who was employed by the eighth Lord Middleton in 1871-5. The irregular surface of the parkland in front of the house is the site of the original village, which was finally swept away in the 18th century.
