Description
English: Aerial view of part of Pakuranga, looking towards the Tamaki River, 21 November 1969. In the foreground are some of the newly developed Pakuranga subdivisions. Towards the upper right, work is underway on the Half Moon Bay ferry terminal and the nearby marina. On the far side of the Tamaki River, the oval body of water towards the centre-left is the Panmure Basin. The area behind and to the left of the Panmure Basin is Mt Wellington.
