TBRClass 423/1, no. 3810 arriving at London Waterloo on 15th August 2003. This unit was one of the last to carry Network SouthEast livery. It was nick-named the "Great Escape" after it was exported to Germany for a while for testing to assist Siemens in building new trains to replace the slam door trains operated on South West Trains express and outer suburban services. It was withdrawn from service by South West Trains in March 2005. There was an attempt to preserve this unit, but sadly that failed and the unit was scrapped.
