Description
English: The line 37° 30′ N. in East Asia, the supposed circle of latitude of the location of Kinshima and/or Ginshima, supposed Japanese confirmation of the Spanish rumors of the Islas Ricas Oro y Plata in the 5 December 1635 report by the Dejima trader Willem Verstegen to the Dutch East India Company, prompting the expeditions of Matthew Quast (1639) and Martin de Vries (1643).
