English: Name: Beer Sheva Menashe Kadishman Description: A steel horse sculpture in the center of the square next to the Negev Museum. The creation of Menashe Kadishman. (August 21, 1932 – May 8, 2015) was an Israeli painter and sculptor, laureate of the Israel Prize in the field of sculpture. עברית: שם: באר שבע מנשה קדישמן תיאור: פסל סוסים מפלדה במרכז הככר הסמוכה למוזיאון הנגב.יצירתו של מנשה קדישמן. (21 באוגוסט 1932 – 8 במאי 2015) היה צייר ופסל ישראלי, חתן פרס ישראל בתחום הפיסול. הערות: בנעוריו למד קדישמן ציור אצל אהרון אבני. לאחר מכן למד פיסול אצל משה שטרנשוס. במקביל היה קדישמן פעיל בתנועת הנוער "גורדוניה" (התנועה המאוחדת). בשנת 1950 נפטר אביו. קדישמן סיים את לימודיו התיכוניים בבית הספר המקצועי ע"ש מקס פיין בתל אביב.[1] עם גיוסו לצה"ל הצטרף ליחידת הנח"ל הראשונה, שהוקמה באותה עת. קדישמן הוצב בקיבוץ מעיין ברוך שבאצבע הגליל. הוא היה רועה צאן, דבר שהשפיע רבות על יצירותיו. זכרונותיו כרועה מתועדים וערוכים בדייקנות ברישומי פחם ועיפרון. התוכן בדרך כלל עוסק בכבשים.(ויקיפדיה) מיקום: הככר מול מוזיאון הנגב בבאר שבע קובץ מקורי: 20240407_124426.jpg |
