English: Name: Eilat Rafi Nelson Description: A statue in memory of Rafi Nelson. Rafi Nelson Elon (October 30, 1930 – February 6, 1988) was a producer and a well-known figure in Israeli Bohemia, the owner of Rafi Nelson's village in Taba, which was the center of Bohemian life from the late 1960s to the late 1980s. The place was a symbol of free sex, marijuana and naked tanning עברית: שם: אילת רפי נלסון תיאור: פסל לזכרו של רפי נלסון.רפי נלסון (30 באוקטובר 1930 – 6 בפברואר 1988) היה מפיק ודמות ידועה בבוהמה הישראלית, בעליו של הכפר של רפי נלסון בטאבה, שהיה מוקד חיי בוהמה מסוף שנות ה-60 עד סוף שנות ה-80. המקום היה סמל של מין חופשי, מריחואנה ושיזוף בעירום הערות: נולד בשם רפאל רוזנצוויג. מאוחר יותר עברת את שמו לאֵילון. השתתף במלחמת העצמאות, ואיבד עין בקרב לטרון הוא התייחס לכך בהומור, באומרו כי "כאשר איבדתי עין אחת, אז התחלתי לחיות. עם שתי עיניים לא ידעתי איך חיים"הוא נקרא נלסון על שם האדמירל הבריטי הוריישו נלסון, שאיבד את עינו בקרב בשנת 1794 אחרי מלחמת השחרור יצא נלסון לאמריקה, וכשחזר הגיע להתיישב באילת הצעירה. הוא עבד במכרות תמנע כנהגו של מנהל המכרה מאיר בית אש והיה גם כתב נודד שפרסם טורים בעיתונים ארציים מסיפורי אילת והדרום מיקום: בכניסה לחוף מוש באילת קובץ מקורי: 20240213_145937.jpg |
