Summary

Description
English: FatehBurj commemorates the victory of 300th year of victory of Baba banda bahadur over Wajir khan. Fateh burj was designed by Ar. Renu Khanna. Design concept came out of the pages of history. War was fought on this very land. Wajir khan chose a site which was plane on one side and had rough terrain on the other site with CHAPPAR that is pond and CHIRI that is group of small trees of mounds (TIBBAS), thinking that Sikh forces will loose the war. But the Sikh General Banda Bahadur chose a strategy of gorilla warfare where he allowed enemy to come forward, horses fell down in the pond then the enemy faced zhiri then he made his forces stand behind the mounds (TIBBAS) and the gorilla attacks. This picture shows exactly how banda bahadur got victory to Sikh forces with gorilla warfare. Experiential architecture where one actually experiences how the enemy forces could miss the soldiers standing behind the mounds (TIBBAS).
