Abhaydas is an Indian spiritual leader and Kathavachak (religious storyteller). He is the fifth acharya (heir apparent) of the 150-year-old Sadguru Trikam Das ji Dham tradition of Takhatgarh, Pali district in Rajasthan.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Abhay Das took Sannyasa at the age of 4.[2][3]
Religious activities
[edit]He delivers pravachans (sermons) on Shreemad Bhagwat Katha, Shree Ram Katha, Nani Bai ka Mayra, Meera Katha, Shree Bhaktmaal Katha, etc., which are broadcast through the Sanskar TV channel.
Social work
[edit]Abhay Das is constructing and operating many free residential Gurukuls (schools) in India’s remote forest areas for tribal people and children[4].
Abhay Das is presently developing a statue (405 feet) of Bharat Mata in Takhatgarh town of Pali district in Rajasthan[5]. This place will include a skill development and wellness center.[6]
International activities
[edit]He participated as a special guest and conducted a yoga session at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva on International Yoga Day (21 June) 2023, representing India.[7][8]
In August 2023, he addressed the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago.[9]
