David Konecký is a Czech Republic career diplomat serving as Czech Republic Permanent Representative to NATO.[1]
Education and career
[edit]Konecký studied International Policy and Relations at the University of Economics, Prague and at Charles University. He holds doctorate degree in International Economics and Foreign Policy.[2]
His diplomatic career started in 2002 focusing on European and Euro-Atlantic affairs. He served as Czech Ambassador to the EU Political and Security Committee in Brussels and as director of the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy Department in Prague and later head of Political Section of the Czech NATO Delegation in Brussels. In 2018, he was appointed as Political Director of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He currently serves as Czech Permanent Representative to NATO.[3][4]
